COVID-19 Updates


As the coronavirus epidemic continues to affect people’s everyday lives, the safety of our Guests and Hosts, as well as the Stashbee team remains our top priority.

We have created this page to keep customers informed about our response to COVID-19.

We’ll be using it to post updates to our policies and guidance on how to continue using Stashbee safely and in line with current social distancing regulations. Be sure to check back frequently for the latest information. 


We’re Open for Business

Companies providing storage solutions are among the businesses that have been allowed to remain open by the UK Government guidelines aimed at stopping the spread of coronavirus.

At the same time, the economic impact of the lockdown has disrupted many people’s lives in ways that have increased their need for storage and parking.

For those reasons, our team remains on hand to help make finding storage simple and hassle-free. It has been humbling to see our amazing Hosts support this mission by doing their bit to comply with social distancing regulations.


Safe Booking Tips

Consider a Virtual Viewing

Virtual viewings are a great alternative if you can’t view a space in person. Many of our Hosts would be happy to jump on a video call to show you around and answer any questions. Just make sure to ask when submitting a request.

We Can Help with Pick-up and Transport

Did you know that we can organise safe pick-up and transport of your items, so you don’t have to leave your home? Get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Observe Social Distancing Guidelines

If you do need to visit a space, ensure you adhere to the NHS guidelines, such as maintaining a safe distance from others, washing your hands frequently, disinfecting any items that will be stored. 

Booking Flexibility

If you’re feeling unwell or need to change plans, you can delay the start date of your booking directly from your dashboard.

Improving Your Listing

Do you have a bit of spare time on your hands? Why not review your listing and make changes to increase the chance of getting a booking.

Here are our top tips to improve your listing :

  • Take at least 2 -3 clear photos of your space from different angles to clearly show its dimensions and accessibility

  • Ensure you have highlighted specialty features in your description (e.g. security, electricity points, etc.)

  • Reassure Guests by letting them know you have cleaned and sanitised the space to prevent the spread of coronavirus

  • Review your price to make sure it’s competitive to other spaces in your area


Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that during this time your plans may need to change unexpectedly. To help in those situations, we're allowing you to cancel a Confirmed booking outside of our normal Cooling Off period if the cancellation is a result of COVID-19 restrictions.

We may just ask you to provide a piece of evidence to confirm the cause of the cancellation. If you need to cancel due to COVID-19, don’t hesitate to send us a message.
