You can cancel your booking request at any time before the Host accepts it. Your request can be cancelled directly from your booking dashboard.

If you want to cancel after the Host has accepted your request, the rules around cancellation will depend on the status of your booking.

You can view the status of your booking in your booking dashboard.


Cancelling When You're Connected

You can cancel an unconfirmed booking directly from your dashboard up until 2 days before the start date.

Bookings can’t be cancelled the day before the start date. If you do need to cancel the day before, you’ll need to give notice to end the booking. 

If you’ve requested an instant booking, you will not be able to cancel once the Host accepts. 


Cancelling a Confirmed Booking

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you might be able to get some or all of your payments refunded. 

Your first monthly charge and key deposit will always be refunded if you cancel your booking up to 2 days before the start date.

Your rental deposit will only be refunded if you cancel within the 24 hour cooling off period. 

In some circumstances, you might be able to get a full refund if you need to cancel outside of the 24 hour cooling off period. Qualifying reasons include: 

  • The description of the space in the listing is materially inaccurate 
  • The space contains health & safety hazards that could harm you or your items
  • The Host is unable to provide access to the space on your start date
  • The Host is found to be in breach of the Stashbee Terms and Conditions
Note: Bookings can’t be cancelled the day before the start date. If you do need to cancel the day before, you’ll need to give notice to end the booking.

Cooling Off Period

The cooling off period means you can cancel your booking within 24 hours of confirming and get a full refund for any payments made.

The 24 hour cooling off period does not apply if you confirm your booking 2 days before the start date.
