The Ultimate Guide to Energy-Saving Hoodies
Shoppers are racing to buy B&M’s new £12 fleece-lined energy-saving hoodies b
As we are all aware, the steep rise in energy costs is affecting everyone this winter. The Cost of living crisis. This problem is made worse now more people than ever are working full-time from home. This of course has many benefits, but one of the downsides is that during winter you are no longer spending all day in a warm office - where someone else is paying the heating bill.
So, those working from home are facing the risk of having to make the choice between working in the cold or putting the heating on for most of the day. This is something I think everyone in that position would rather avoid. Not everyone will be getting the winter fuel payment/ cold weather payment this year, so we wanted to share some ways to cut down the costs of gas and electricity this winter.

And the Winner Is…
WINNER: B&M Snuggle Hoodie (Buy Here)
So, it would seem that at £16, the Primark offering is hard to beat for value for money. However, this is only two pounds less than several other brands and the quality is noticeably lower.
At the other end of the spectrum, is the original version from Oodie which offers far higher quality and warmth. Although, I think that £90 is way too much money to consider a money saving solution, but it may last the longest and that is worth taking into consideration.
The M&S version is more expensive than many others and seems to offer the same warmth as the other options, however, may be of a higher quality.
My choice would be the B&M Snuggle hoodie, with its great price, huge range of designs and 30-day money-back guarantee. The Primark Snoodie is definitely a strong contender if you don’t have a B&M store near you - the pockets and elastic cuffs really make a difference.
This is all in an effort of keeping the heating off for as long as possible as it’s starting to feel chilly at night. Now more than ever, it’s important to maximise our energy efficiency.
This bargain was first noticed by Lucy Leeson, who wrote an article for Yorkshire Live. Lucy, who is the mother of two children wrote: “As a mum to two young boys, I am already wondering how myself and my husband are going to afford to pay the bills this winter, particularly with the rise in energy bill prices.”
