Unfortunately, the stadium’s official website informs that there are no parking bays available for fans at the stadium, so you have to look for something else. It doesn’t mean, though, that you cannot travel by car.

However, before you decide to take your vehicle to a match day, you have to be aware of some regulations that apply during all event days.

Let’s get it kicked off!

Parking near the Tottenham stadium on a match day

The area surrounding the stadium has parking restrictions during all event and match days. Tottenham Hotspur is located in the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), which means only residents with a Blue Badge (a parking permit for disabled drivers) can park there during any event at Tottenham Hotspur.

If you're not a resident, then, unfortunately, you cannot park near the stadium. Traffic is also severely limited due to road closures two hours before, during and one hour after the event.

Only emergency vehicles and companies with special permits may access closed roads during road closures.

If you leave your car in the controlled parking zone before the road closure, you will have to wait until it re-opens to drive away.

Accessible parking options for Tottenham

If you have special accessibility requirements, you can contact the stadium administration directly and ask for assistance (email: access@tottenhamhotspur.com).

They can provide you with some accessible parking space in and around the stadium. However, there are just a few spots for disabled fans, so you need to hurry!

If you choose this option, you must arrive before the road closure and leave after it's waived. The same applies to all Blue Badge holders.

Brunswick Road

If you’re looking for a cheap parking spot that’s not too far from the Tottenham Stadium, you can check out the car park Brunswick Road, located 1.2 miles away from the ground. It’ll cost you £1.25 an hour to park here on match day.

However, it’s worth noting that the space here is very limited and can only accommodate 31 cars, which means you’d have to arrive close to 4 hours before the match to secure your spot.

It’s an option worth considering if you’re catching up with your mates at a pub in the area before the game.

Westerfield Road

Another option to park is the car park on Westerfield Road, which has similar prices to the one on Brunswick Road, located 1.5 miles away from the stadium, it costs about £1.32 an hour to park here.

So while it’s a bit of a walk (34 minutes), it has 71 spots, which increases your chances of securing a spot if you arrive a couple of hours earlier.

Somerset Road

If you’re looking for free parking near Tottenham Stadium, the Somerset Road parking space located 1.3 miles away might be the right choice for you.

How to get to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by public transport

None of these options works for you? There’s still always public transport, which gives you easy access to the stadium.

The stop closest to the stadium (under 300 m) is White Hart Lane station (London Overground). You can use London’s TfL website to plan your trip to the stadium.

The trains going through this station connect White Hart Lane with the Victoria Line and Seven Sisters.

You can also use multiple buses to get to or nearby the stadium: 149, 259, 279 and 349. The bus stop you’re looking for is called ‘Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’.

Stadium Shuttles

The stadium also provides pre-booked shuttle buses, which are accessible to all users. Bear in mind, though, that you are obliged to book seats in advance through the stadium’s website.

These shuttles run every 15 minutes before and after the event. They usually start 3 hours before the match and 2 hours after the final whistle.

Ticket sales close 12 hours prior to the event (or when all available shuttles are fully booked). The stadium shuttles usually operate from Alexandra Palace Station and Wood Green Station. Visit the linked website for updated information.

Other options

If none of the options listed above suits you, you can always arrange to get there on your own – by taxi, bike or even on foot. Whichever option you choose, always remember to take enough time.

Sporting events always attract a lot of attention and, therefore, traffic. And nobody needs to be told that London can be really congested!

Keep that in mind, plan your trip accordingly and leave early to be sure not to miss one minute of the match!
