The Stashbee Guide to Premier League Matchday Parking
The ultimate guide to Premier League matchday parking – so you can support your team without having to spend a fortune to park
You want to support your favourite team, but you don't want to pay a fortune to park. What options do you have?
Stashbee has thousands of parking spaces all over the country, including near all the major football stadiums. If you need affordable matchday parking, check out our guide to Premier League Match day parking.
There’s very little parking at the 60,335-capacity Emirates Stadium - and parking in nearby streets is reserved for residents only. Some fans choose to park a little further out and then get the tube to the stadium. Cockfosters tube station is a popular choice as it has its own NCP car park, but there aren't many spaces there.
The 55,097-capacity Etihad Stadium has some spaces available in Blue Car Park H. However, getting out after the game is very slow. There’s a strictly enforced resident-only parking scheme in place around Etihad Stadium, so if you want to park on the street, you’ll have to leave your car fairly far away and walk.
There are several unofficial car parks near the stadium. However, as they are quite close, it can take a while to get back out onto the main road after the game due to congestion on the roads.
You could park in Altrincham town centre and take the Metrolink to the stadium, which takes around 20 minutes. There are also plenty of small private car parks in the vicinity. Some are cheaper than others, with parking at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground costing £10, while the Salford Quays Lowry Outlet Mall costs £6 for four to five hours. There are resident-only restrictions in place around the ground.

Parking at the 62,303-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium itself is nonexistent. There’s also a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in operation on match days, preventing vehicles from parking on the street within one mile of the ground. On the perimeter of this zone, there are private car parks that charge up to £20 for the privilege, so they’re best avoided.
You can park inside the CPZ by renting an unused parking space from a local resident via Stashbee.

With the 52,405-capacity St James’ Park Stadium located so centrally, there are a host of pay-and-display car parks in the vicinity. The NCP Newcastle on John Dobson Street has over 500 spaces that can be pre-booked, while there are also car parks on Fenkle Street and Thornton Street.
Parking at the 30,666-capacity Amex Stadium for fans is a no-go. Instead, home and away fans are encouraged to prebook their parking at the club’s official parking sites for >£15. Alternatively, there are three park and ride schemes available on match days.
The 54,074-capacity Anfield Stadium is one of the most famous in Europe, but that’s not thanks to its parking. There are a few spaces at Stanley Park, but increased demand means that those are now reserved for permit holders. You can park at the nearby Dockers Club, home of non-league side Waterloo Dock, while there’s also secure parking available at nearby Goodison Park.
The club advises fans to use public transport and the bus service from Liverpool City Centre.
There’s little parking on offer for fans at the 17,250-capacity Brentford Community Stadium, but there are a few official car parks in the area. Resident parking restrictions are in full force on match day.
There isn't any parking at the 41,631-capacity Stamford Bridge stadium. There are several local resident-only parking schemes in operation in the area, so you may have to leave your car a good distance from the stadium to find any on-street parking. Using the excellent nearby public transport links is advisable.

Stadium parking at Villa Park (capacity: 42,788) is exclusively reserved for permit holders and, on match days, there are resident-only parking restrictions in operation in the area.
The 25,456-capacity Selhurst Park is a little farther out than some London clubs, and there is no parking at the stadium itself. Most local streets are also subject to time restrictions and permit-only requirements. For that reason, even the club recommends that drivers use car park rental sites such as Stashbee.
Parking in the vicinity of the 32,312-capacity King Power Stadium can be tricky, due to several resident-only parking schemes near the ground. Look further afield for street parking, which may leave you with more than a 20-minute walk to the stadium. Alternatively, parking is available at the nearby Leicester Tigers Rugby Club on Welford Road. Another option is to use the park and ride scheme, which runs from Enderby.
Parking at the 31,700-capacity Molineux is relatively simple. Although there are only a limited number of spaces at the stadium itself, the club offers official parking on a seasonal and match-to-match basis in three locations around Molineux:
The closest club-operated facility to the ground is the Stanley Park car park, located around half a mile from the 39,572-capacity Goodison Park.
The Lifestyles Walton Sports and Wellbeing Centre is a 15-minute walk from the grounds and also offers parking.
The 60,000-capacity London Stadium has been designated as a ‘public transport destination’, which means it’s very difficult to drive and park close to the venue. On match days, there is an extensive residential parking zone in place, which makes finding on-street parking within walking distance very difficult.
In terms of off-street parking, Westfield Stratford City shopping centre is a safe bet, which is a 10-minute walk away.
The 37,890-capacity Elland Road stadium is one of the easiest to park at. There are several council-operated car parks based around the stadium. There’s also a park and ride scheme on match days operating from Temple Green to the stadium.

There isn't much parking at the 32,505-capacity St Mary's Stadium. Located just outside of the city centre, some fans often opt to park in the city and walk the 15-20 minutes to the stadium.
Some fans choose to park in the marina area, which is just 10 minutes from the stadium on foot and has the advantage of bypassing city centre traffic altogether. The Ocean Village complex in the marina has plenty of parking.
