Follow our safety guidelines to make sure you continue to use Stashbee safely during the pandemic.
Ask your Host or Guest to jump on a Facetime or Skype call so they can show you around the space without having to meet in person.
We can arrange the safe pick up and drop off of your stuff so that you don’t have to leave your home or use public transport.
If you do have to visit a space, stay safe by wearing a mask and keeping a 2m distance from anyone not from your household.
You can always move your booking start date if you need to change your plans unexpectedly.
You can use KeyNest to safely hand over the key to the space without having to meet up in person.
Take extra care to clean and sanitise your stuff and the space before and after the booking starts.

With Stashbee, it’s never been easier to find convenient parking space in Manchester.
Just register with us as a Guest, request a space, and put down your payment. Once the Host confirms, we’ll take the money from your account, and you’ll be able to start using your space.
Our interactive map lets you find the perfect location, and some of our listings are available for ‘instant book’, which means you won’t even need to wait for the Host to confirm before you can start parking.
We keep our Manchester parking prices low by charging only a small service fee, with no extra or hidden fees on top of that so you won’t be caught out when your first bill arrives. Hosts set their own prices when they make a listing, and the price you see as a Guest will be the price you pay.
Prices vary by a few factors, including:
Size of the space
Some spaces will offer additional features such as security cameras. If these factors are crucial to you, you can include them in your search when looking for a space.
At present, parking spaces in Manchester range in price from around £100 to £200 for a month.
All of our bookings are on a rolling monthly basis. We’ll take your first payment the day before the booking is due to start, and subsequent payments on the same day each month until the booking ends.
In short, yes. At Stashbee, we take customer safety and security very seriously, and we offer a variety of protections for everyone who uses our service.
All Hosts and Guests must agree to our Booking Terms before they can proceed with the process. This helps keep your booking protected in case something goes wrong.
We’ll also send both parties a copy of the signed terms, so you have something to refer to if you have any issues in the future. You’ll be able to find this in your booking dashboard.
In some cases, we’ll ask you to put down a deposit before you can book your parking space.
Once your booking is over and your Host confirms that there were no items left behind, no damage done, and that all payments have been fulfilled, we’ll return your deposit to you in full.
We use Stripe to process all payments. They’re a fully accredited payment provider, and they keep all your data secure.
We don’t keep any of your payment details on our own servers either, and all payments made through Stashbee are covered by our Guest Insurance and Cancellations and Refunds policies, as well as by our Booking Terms.
Again, the short answer to this is yes.
Despite the disruptions of the last year, we’ve been able to keep connecting Hosts who have parking space to spare with Guests who need to use it.
To do this, we provide features such as virtual viewings and flexible bookings, as well as contactless key handover through KeyNest. For more information on this, check out our full list of COVID updates.
Hosts need to give Guests at least two months’ notice before they end the booking. If they do so, we’ll get in touch with you and let you know.
Guests, meanwhile, can usually cancel with one month’s notice. Some Hosts do specify longer notice periods, though - make sure you check this in your dashboard, under ‘booking details’, to ensure you don’t get caught out.
If your booking ends outside your usual monthly rental period, don’t worry: we’ll work out how much you need to pay on a pro rata basis, and let you know how much you owe once you serve notice.
Once you’ve served or received notice, you’ll need to ensure your car has been moved by the booking end date.
You’ll also need to return any items you received as part of the booking including:
Keys or fobs
Any security access cards
After you’ve moved out, your Host just needs to confirm that everything is as it should be and we’ll refund your deposit. This is usually back in your account after a few days, but don’t worry if it takes longer - we allow up to 14 days to get this done.
No. As with many bigger cities, Manchester manages its parking spaces to try to ensure good turnover and availability. And sadly, that means that more often than not, you’ll have to pay to park.
Many areas are covered by pay and display bays. They operate from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday, in all zones except Zone 4. Between 8pm and 8am the following day, parking is free, except where restrictions such as yellow lines apply. However, you should be careful, as you can be subject to a hefty fine if you’re not out of the space by 8am on the dot.
Phew, that was a mouthful, wasn’t it?
Restrictions around parking on single yellow lines in Manchester vary, meaning there’s no short answer to the question. To make sure you’re not going to get hit with a fine, you’ll need to check the street signs where you’re parking.
In general, though, you cannot park on a single line between 8am and 8pm in the city centre, which is considered a ‘controlled parking zone’. Parking on double yellow lines, meanwhile, is not permitted at any time of the day or night.
There are some exceptions for Blue Badge holders - but again, you should check these in detail ahead of time before planning to park somewhere.
The cost of parking at Manchester Airport depends on which car park you leave your car in. ‘Turn Up and Park’ options are available at the following car parks:
T1 Short Stay
T3 and T2 West Multi-Storey Long Stay (aka ‘T2 West’)
The airport’s original long-stay car parks have been closed to allow for terminal development work. However, even when it’s operating, you will still be taking a risk by hoping there will be a parking space there on the day of your flight.
Manchester Airport’s car park prices are structured as follows:
Up to 30 minutes: £6
Up to one hour: £12
Up to two hours: £15
Up to four hours: £20
Up to 24 hours and for each 24 hours after: £55
You should also note that there is no hourly rate available beyond 24 hours. Instead, you’ll be charged the full £55 for the next 24-hour period, even if you drive away just one or two hours over the time limit.
You can save money on Manchester Airport parking by booking in advance, but you might find it easier and cheaper to find a parking space near the airport with Stashbee (if we do say so ourselves).
