At Stashbee, we make the process of finding storage space in Nottingham simple, safe and secure. All of our prices have been preset by our Hosts and there are no hidden fees. That means the price you see on the listing is the price you pay.
Rather than offering a single type of storage space like many providers, our listings include all sorts of different storage options. That includes shipping containers, storage crates, garages, spare rooms, outhouses, and more. So, whatever you need to store, just use our handy search filters to help you find the perfect space.
All of our Hosts are verified and vetted and all payments are managed by our secure payment provider Stripe. As long as your payments are made through Stashbee, you’ll benefit from an excellent level of protection. That includes our insurance policy, which covers your stuff while it is being stored with your Host, to a value of up to £1,000.
If at any point you need a helping hand or have a question, just drop the Stashbee team a line. We’re on hand to help you via email or over the phone to make sure you receive a stress-free and enjoyable storage experience.
We have also taken steps throughout the pandemic so that our Hosts and Guests can continue to use Stashbee safely. Take a look at our latest COVID-19 updates and check our safety tips to make sure you’re doing everything you can do to keep your bookings safe.
Once you enter your postcode or the area where you want to find storage space into the search bar on this page, you’ll be presented with the storage options nearby. Each listing will tell you how far away it is from your desired location, with the closest at the top of the list.
Each listing will provide all the details you need about that storage space along with some pictures and a written description. The information you should look out for includes:
Size - The size of the space is given in square feet (sq ft.) on every listing. As a general guide, a single garage in the UK is around 10 feet by 18 feet, which is equivalent to 180 sq ft.
Security deposit - Some of our Hosts ask for a security deposit to be paid at the start of the booking. If there are no outstanding payments or damage caused to the space, then this will be refunded in full at the end of the booking.
Minimum rental - This is the shortest period that you can rent the storage space for. You will agree on the length of your rental with your Host when making the booking.
Features - You’ll see which features are included with each space on the listing. These could include lockable doors, security gates, water supply, electricity points, CCTV, lighting, security alarms, and more.
Price - The price you see on the listing is the price you’ll pay for a month’s rental of that space, with no hidden fees to worry about. This price is preset, but may be negotiable with your Host.
Good news: storage in Nottingham doesn’t cost all that much!
The price you pay will depend on the type, size, and location of the Nottingham storage space that you like the look of. However, at the moment, we have secure garages listed for less than £150 a month, spare rooms for £50, and lockups for even less than that.
Whether you’re moving home, letting your place out, renovating or decluttering, sometimes you just need to get the furniture out of there.
Whatever the reason, Stashbee can offer you all sorts of options. If it’s a relatively small amount of furniture, then a spare room in someone’s house might be the most economical option. If it’s quite a lot of furniture, then a shipping container, lockable garage, or even an unused basement might be right for you.
As a rough guide, 150 sq ft. of storage space is typically enough to store all of the furniture in a three-bedroom house. As well as the size of the space, you should also think about how easy it will be to load and unload the furniture, as well as how much access you’ll need to the furniture further down the line. You can find all of this information within each listing, or by contacting the Host directly.
Whether you’re a first time user or have been using the platform for a long time, we’re always here to answer any questions you may have.
